New Video: Kent State

As we enter the final week of our Kickstarter funding campaign, watch this exclusive early edit preview focusing on DEVO's mysterious origins during the Kent State shootings in 1970. UPDATE: "That Money"

Thank you for helping us raise $40k during our first week. We've met our initial goal, but that was in fact a modest step to move forward, and we really need much more to deliver the Film U Want. Please summon all Spuds in this Wiggly World to contribute so we can secure the rights, archives, and all cultural textures that surround this amazing group and their history: http://kickstarter.com/projects/1409838010/authorized-devo-documentary-film/posts/264862

Thanks BoingBoing!

BoingBoing: "I get many requests every day from people asking me to post about their Kickstarter project. I'm sometimes tempted to filter all email with "kickstarter" in it. But then I get something like Jeff Winner's Kickstarter for a Devo documentary and I realize that I can't do that. This documentary about one of my favorite bands looks amazing."

Kickstarter!

Help us get this film edited, mixed, and to the festivals!

To contribute is not like spending money, but rather an investment in the future, in a blow against the empire:
